A third generation company, Brummer's Chocolates was established in 1904 in Jersey City, New Jersey. Moving to Vermilion, Ohio in 1990, Bob Brummer extended their business to the mid-west while George Brummer continues to do business in New Jersey.

The candy and chocolates are made in the back of both brother's stores using the same family recipes that were used over 100 years ago. Unlike large candy companies where everything is automated, the Brummer brothers make most everything by hand.

In addition to homemade chocolate and fudge, Brummer's stock other quality candies that their customers have requested over the years, as well as cards, gifts and Polish pottery at the Vermilion location.
